Our pulse arc welder can go well beyond these general jobs to include tacking complex pieces before soldering, welding long seams for hollow construction, and connecting dissimilar metals such as titanium to gold.

Resin Inlay is a great way to add absolutely any color you can think of to your jewelry! This workshop covers the entire process of adding resin to a fabricated design that students create during class.

In this workshop we will make fun earrings using sterling tube bezels and faceted CZs to make sparkly stud and hanging earrings. This one day workshop will cover all the soldering basics to advanced, from butt joints to stick soldering, to supporting metal to solder hard to reach solder joints. Students will learn to saw and pierce, file, make cold connections such as rivets, basic soldering, and finishing.

Big, small, bold, and always beautiful! Discover the art of designing and fabricating jewelry for the ear, from snap closure hoops to fold form dangles, this class will teach you many tips and tricks for designing earrings for any occasion!

We will begin with the basics, with simple stud earrings, and making earring wire jigs which can expedite your earring making process. The class will then will explore more technical projects such as a snap clasp hoop earring and a fold formed leaf dangle earring!

So many jewelers call themselves designers, without so much as giving a second thought to what exactly a designer is and does. The concept of what is good design and what is bad design is very subjective, but in this fast paced, highly interactive, fun and creative class you are going to learn first-hand some answers to these questions. 

In this one-day workshop students will create a ring with a free spinning, kinetic element in the center. This project will teach tight tolerance fabrication techniques, selective soldering strategies, decorative surface treatment considerations, and proper polishing protocols. Students can expect to walk away with a finished ring and knowledge for future projects. Completion of Jewelry 1 or equivalent is required.

The seductive quality of fine silver will be brought to life through the repetitive and meditative process of weaving together fused circular links created using an acetylene torch. With a mix of demonstrations and hands-on studio time, participants can expect to leave class with the knowledge of how to make a beautiful new pair of earrings or a single chain for a bracelet or necklace. Single loop and double loop methods will be covered. No previous soldering skills required.

This condensed exploration of metalworking fundamentals is perfect for those who have always wanted to learn jewelry-making but never had the time. Saw, anneal, solder, file, texture, solder inlay, and more while creating one-of-a-kind jewelry!

This workshop focuses on strategies for making unique chains and linkages. A wide range of chain styles will be demonstrated and explained including a variety of fused, cold-connected, woven, and soldered link chains. Students will become exposed to the rich tradition of classical techniques as well as the practical shortcuts for making work efficiently. 

Jayne Redman has developed ways of working that dramatically speed up the production process. In this course, she will share what she has learned about making multiples using blanking dies and designing jigs for findings.
