Did you know that Metalwerx Members can receive 5% - 10% off classes? Learn More
Scholarship and volunteer opportunities are integral to Metalwerx's programming. Metalwerx was founded in 1998 and became a 501(c)3 non-profit in 2005. Over the past decade, we have been raising money for our scholarship fund through community member donations and fundraisers.
Our scholarships provide financial assistance for recipients to enhance their skills, study with a visiting artist, find new inspiration and expand their metalworking repertoire. Scholarships are offered throughout the year. Current opportunities are listed below.
Metalwerx is especially grateful to Deborah A Hawkins, Rio Grande, and other individual donors for scholarship funding support that has helped increase scholarship offerings and access to education programs.
If you would like to help us create more scholarships, contributions of any size, can be made to our general scholarship fund through our donation page. Please contact Lindsay Minihan, our Executive Director if you would like to create a named scholarship in honor of someone important to you or for a specific purpose.
