Foundations in Chain Maille (Session 2)

This class is a continuation of Foundations in Chain Maille - Session 1. In this class, students will learn a few more of the essential chain maille weaves that are the basis for so many others. This class will focus on Barrel, Helm, and Half Persian 3-in-1, and explore several variations of the focus 1 weaves (such as: RSD, Keg, Screw Chain, Prejudiced Rhinos, PRE, Helm, Conundrum, Celtic Visions, Celtic Wings, Dragonscale, Half Persian 4-in-1, Slow Worm, Alligator Back, Dragonback, and Persian Dragonscale – as many as time permits). The class kits will include plenty of anodized aluminum jump rings, enough to practice each of the three focus weaves and to experiment with weave variations and design alternatives.

Open to students of all levels.  Students who took Foundations in Chain Maille Session 1 are encouraged to enroll and continue in their progress of learning new weaves and experimenting with variations.  New students are welcome--you'll learn the fundamentals and move on to additional variations!
