Metalwerx has reviewed and updated our COVID-19 health and safety policies to protect and stay focused on the safety of our community.
Wearing a mask at Metalwerx will be optional in all classes that begin after June 1, 2022. This policy will remain in place as long as there is not a significant surge of new Covid-19 cases or changes to local requirements.
It important that you feel comfortable when spending time at our studio. We encourage you to reach out to us with any questions you may have by calling us at 781-891-3854 or emailing [email protected].
Covid-19 Access and Safety Policies
Updated February 2, 2024
Based on current guidance from the Waltham Department of Health, CDC, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and other local and national public health agencies, Metalwerx will no longer require proof of COVID vaccinations for participation in our programs, including classes, workshops and events.
-
While Metalwerx no longer requires proof of vaccination, we strongly encourage full vaccination for all of our constituents – if you haven’t yet received your COVID-19 vaccination or boosters, you can learn more about where and how to do so at mass.gov.
-
While masks continue to be optional at Metalwerx, they are strongly recommended, and we encourage everyone to review current masking recommendations from the CDC to inform their personal choices.
-
We encourage anyone experiencing symptoms of illness before coming to Metalwerx to act responsibly and limit exposure to other people, i.e. wear a mask or stay home.
Metalwerx is aware that public health guidance re: COVID-19 continues to change and evolve – all current policies are subject to change, in order to best align with current guidance and to preserve the safety of all of our constituents. Please be on the lookout for updated policies and protocols moving forward and contact us with any questions.
