Stone setting got you stressed? Here is a great trick from Lindsay Mis that will have you setting stones with ease and with good smells!
For setting small stones, I use peppermint oil instead of bur life for easier visibility in small places. By using peppermint oil, I can see the small hole I am drilling instead of the white flakes around the setting that bur life would cause.
When working with enhanced eyewear, you need all the clarity you can to make sure you are not removing too much material. Running your flex shaft at a slower speed allows you more control and makes you less likely to take away too much metal as well as keeping your bur sharper longer. Take a deep breath and enjoy the sweet smell of victory of setting a small stone!
