Terry Kovalcik is a visual artist (with a background in illustration), jewelry designer and instructor dedicated to pushing the boundaries of metal clay jewelry.

A New Jersey-based artisan and Sr. Instructor for the PMC RioRewards® program, Terry is known throughout the Metal Clay community for his specialities—Viscosity Painting and Hinged Lockets—and his informative master workshops. His unique and original works has been published in variety of books and publications—giving him international recognition.

Terry work is highly recognized among the Metal Clay community for it's superb craftsmanship and fine detail. Terry has been featured in almost 20 books and publications, including some authored by Tim McCreight, Sue Heaser, Cece Wire, Barbara Becker Simon, Jeanette Landenwitch, and Linda Kaye-Moses. In "PMC Technic", he is one of ten featured metal clay artists who were invited to write about their unique creative approach to PMC. He wrote about Viscosity Painting—his speciality—a technique that involves slip-trail painting with PMC paste. His work can also be seen in a number of Lark publications including " 500 Earrings" and "The Art of Jewelry: Polymer Clay: Techniques, Projects, Inspiration".
