Karen Christians is an educator and maker in the metal arts. She taught and developed Open Studios program in the Metals program at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, co-founded Metalwerx and the Hot Craft Studio for Jewelry at Artisan's Asylum in Somerville. She teaches and lectures nationally, and is published in many professional and technical magazines. She is the author of two books Making the Most of Your Flex-Shaft, and recently, Jewelry of Burning Man, which was funded on Kickstarter in 2014. Karen holds a BFA with High Honors from the Massachusetts College of Art.
