Round Maille Bangle Bracelets

Bangle-style bracelets are so easy to wear – just roll them on and go!  Students enrolled in this demo-focused virtual course will learn how to make a bangle-style bracelet in Round Maille. The chain maille techniques covered in this class will include European 4-in-1 (weaving, lengthening, widening, joining) and Round Maille (European 4-in-1 Method and In-The-Round).

The jump rings used to produce the bracelet are small, therefore, this class is best suited to students with previous chain maille experience. Students should be proficient weavers, know the difference between Through-the-Eye and Around-the-Eye connections, and understand gauge, inner/outer diameter and aspect ratio, and be comfortable working with small jump rings.

Because this is a virtual class, students will be responsible for procuring their own materials.  Suggestions for making the bracelet in 20awg sterling silver, gold-filled, titanium and anodized aluminum will be provided. Enrolled students should contact Karen via email prior to ordering supplies if they wish to work in alternate sizes or materials.

Students will receive 60 days of access to video recordings of class for review and practice, and a robust PDF handout documenting each step of the process directly from the instructor.
