Reticulation and Keum-boo
This demo-focused virtual workshop will synthesize two revered artistic methodologies in the field of jewelry, purposefully harnessing the qualities of each to elevate your craft and design. This thoughtfully planned three-session class will cover the seamless fusion of the traditional Korean technique of Keum-boo and the mesmerizing relief-like surfaces achieved through the transformative process of reticulation.
Embrace the art of crafting handmade keum-boo foil, adeptly preparing the exquisite 80/20 reticulation metal alloy, and artfully unite these technical elements to form an expansive array of bespoke jewelry pieces.
