Kinetic Floral Pendants - Virtual Workshop

Course Description

About this course

Jewelry that moves is fun, engaging, and always eye catching. In this live, virtual workshop, students will look at a mechanism for creating a spinning flower as they work with both sheet and wire to create a 3-dimensional kinetic piece of jewelry. Participants will learn to control their torch during delicate soldering operations and how to plan ahead for tricky connections. Students will also play with various textures and make simple tools for adding more depth to the piece.

This course will consist of two sessions. There will be a no-class day between each session.

There will be an Open Studio Hour at 2:00PM Eastern Time on the no-class day.

Class will be held live via Zoom during the designated time frame. A link to the Zoom room will be sent via email.

Each session will be recorded and you will receive a password protected link to the recordings that expire after 30 days.
