Jewelry 2

Jewelry 2 provides students with the opportunity to focus on honing soldering, stone setting, fabrication, and finishing skills learned in Jewelry I, and add some new techniques to refine their work! Students will get tips for solving problems and building their skill set. Topics covered include but are not limited to moving metal with hammers, hollow construction, simple hinges, tab setting, flush setting, chain making, and creating findings for jewelry. Each student is encouraged to make samples and create a project of their own design that incorporates techniques learned in the course.
