Introduction to 3D Jewelry

The aim of this course is to introduce jewelry modeling techniques used in Rhino 7 for additive digital manufacturing and 3D design! We will explore all the native tools of Rhino 7 and their relationship to building jewelry and objects. The 1st session of the workshop will consist of a short presentation, an introduction to the Rhino 7 interface, commonly used commands, modeling rings, and how to import/export files for 3D printing. Handouts will be provided to review and practice techniques demonstrated. The 2nd session of the workshop will include further demonstration and practice of different types of rings and rendering your models in Rhino Render for picture perfect representation of jewelry pieces! Basic computer skills required.
