Image Transfer in Polymer Clay

In this demo-focused virtual workshop, students will learn how to transfer images onto polymer clay using both solid and liquid clay, creating both solid and transparent images! The instructor will demonstrate several examples with different types of images that can be transferred, such as newspaper clippings, magazine cutouts, laser photocopies, and drawings. During this process, the class will utilize a toaster oven and an iron. Additionally, students will learn how to incorporate various materials into your images, such as wire, textiles, sand, etc.

Following the creative process, once the images have been transferred, the class will learn how to enhance them using markers, colors, acrylic paints, and more. Finally, we will discuss how to incorporate these images into jewelry pieces!
