Hinged Lockets

Take advantage of this rare opportunity to work with a true fabrication master to create a beautiful and classic hinged locket, perfect for storing memories or keepsakes. This workshop will focus on fabricating a round, hinged locket with a tab closure and photo lens. Techniques demonstrated over the course of the workshop will include dapping, hollow soldering, hinge making, and creating an inner bezel. Students will leave this 5 day workshop with a finished locket as well as a more elevated and refined set of fabrication skills, a better understanding of mechanisms, and the ability to work on a smaller scale.
