Enameling Basics in a Day

If you have experience in jewelry or metalsmithing and want to explore the possibilities of enameling, before taking an intensive course, this workshop is for you!

This one-day in-person class focuses on the use of powdered glass enamels and copper to create kiln fired enamels that have unique colorful surfaces. Techniques include metal preparation, full understanding of the firing process, enamel application, embellishment, and finishing. Through live demos and project-based practice, students will gain essential enameling skills and leave with a finished enamel pendant or pair of earrings.
