Classical and Historic Fused Chains in Argentium
This one-session Virtual Class is designed to peek into the past of jewelry history and introduce the fundamental technique of fusion for making two styles of historical chains. Techniques and tools for making links, fusing argentium silver, live demonstration, Power point of jewelry history and more will be shared. This is a great way to understand argentium fusion as well as to become part of the continuum of deep history of jewelry making!
Meet the instructor
Paulette Werger is a metalsmith and teacher who works in Lebanon, NH. She sells her work both nationally and internationally and is owner of Metalpeople East, a jewelry and hollow ware studio. She has taught metalsmithing at the University of WI, Montana State University, and at craft schools throughout the country.
