Barware and Bitters

Join us for a special hands-on workshop devoted to barware! Make a sterling cocktail stir spoon and a set of martini picks. Forging, forming, fabrication and surface embellishment techniques will be demonstrated.

Students will use the alloy Argentium Silver to complete their set. The instructor will lead discussions that address design, model making, the rich tradition of classical techniques as well as the practical shortcuts for working more efficiently to complete pieces in a day.

Please note, students are invited to stay after class for a cocktail hour with special guest mix master, Michael Tzannes, who will finish the class with recipes and tasting of artisanal bitters for the craft cocktail!  This workshop is perfect to kick off a date night, for cocktail aficionados and those who like to make it themselves!
