Soldering Tips Weekly

In this “soldering 101” weekly class students of all levels will have the chance to not only learn or refresh their soldering skills but improve and add onto them. The curriculum will cover everything from the basics of how to set up your own soldering torch and tank, safety concerns, and proper tank storage, in addition to focusing on fundamental soldering strategies and approaches. Various types of torches, gases, and soldering supplies will be explained in depth. The class will also work on soldering applications that will ensure students gain confidence in their soldering skills and learn the variable working properties of copper, brass, bronze, silver, and a plethora of soldering supplies needed to make soldering magic!

This class is great for those seeking to broaden their soldering horizons and will focus strictly on soldering techniques and skill building! Please note that this class is open to all levels of students but will be covering fundamentals for those with little to no soldering experience! Student with some background in soldering are welcome and are invited to bring any projects, metal (copper, brass, silver, or gold alloys only) or questions they may have in regards to soldering!
