Metal Clay Bangle Bracelets

Here is an opportunity to apply basic metal clay techniques to make some simple but beautiful silver bangles. Michela will demonstrate techniques for constructing a bangle bracelet and emphasis will be made on embellishing each piece uniquely. A variety of embellishment techniques will be covered including hand forming, using molds, and using tools to create textures. Each of these techniques can easily be applied directly onto your bangle design. Technical obstacles such as metal clay shrinkage and sizing will be discussed during the class as well. Finish the day with a minimum of one new bangle bracelet, possibly more depending on your design, and the skills to apply these construction and design concepts to future work!
