Enameling Studio: Some Like It Hot!

Expanding your knowledge through experimentation and learning with and from each other by sharing experiences and results is the concept behind this 5 week enamel studio. The fun in workshops usually starts after the instructor has completed the demonstrations and everyone begins to work on new techniques, making exciting discoveries. Then time runs out...This class will focus on starting where you usually finish: experimentation without time constraints.

Each session is thematically organized and we will start with sharing and demonstrating techniques of interest including but not limited to surface variations and working with three dimensional forms. Through rigorous play and open-table meetings, participants will be able to compare their results, exchange ideas and expand their knowledge. Brief presentations of historic and contemporary examples are included.

Putting it on would be like breaking the frozen surface and seeing the sun burst through again."
