Easy Fabrication for Simple Gift Ideas
Make your holiday extra special by making your gifts by hand. Students will learn quick and easy ways to create sets of earrings, pendants and rings. This class will focus on small scale soldering and fabrication, sawing, easy clean up using the flex shaft, and simple finishing techniques to create classic, wearable jewelry. Each week students will take home a finished piece or pieces just in time for the gift giving season!
Meet the instructor
Liz Clark received her BFA in Crafts/Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University. She lives in Providence, RI and maintains a metal studio where she creates art and jewelry part time. Liz exhibits her work through various galleries across the country. She also works as a photo jewelry stylist.
Materials & Tools
There is a $55 material fee for this class, which is payable upon registration. The materials kit includes sterling silver sheet and wire, as well as multiple findings to complete several pairs of earrings as well as two necklaces.
