Cocktail Rings

Rings, worn on the finger, toe, arm, or neck express so much about us. Symbolic of so many aspects of our lives, they can be simple or fanciful. This three-day focuses on the cocktail ring, the most common kind of costume jewelry and also known as a cluster ring or a dinner ring. Often large and elaborate in style, we will form our own interpretations of these extravagant objects.

Develop strategies for using wire and solder to create three-dimensional wire structures as the foundation for baubles. These structures will be transformed into a ring, by adding our dimensional elements to a ring shank. Finally, in true Donna D’Aquino style, learn to add an element of color with plasti-dip!
